Blankenburg Law opened its doors in 2019. Dan Blankenburg, the sole member of the LLC, graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 1994. After graduation he moved to Washington, D.C. and served as a Congressional Aide on Capitol Hill for 13 years. He also worked for the nation’s largest small business advocate, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), for 5 years.
During his legal training, Dan completed a federal judicial externship for Federal Magistrate Judge Paul Cherry in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana and worked as a law clerk for the Porter County Prosecutor. In 2014, Dan earned his juris doctor from Valparaiso School of Law and began working for Hodges and Davis, P.C., one of the Regions most prestigious law firms. Dan has an unlimited license to practice law in any federal or state court in Indiana. He resides in Valparaiso, and is married to his wife, Candie.
